What happen to Halo?

What happened to halo? The halo series has produced timeless videogames year in and year out. It made the Xbox and Xbox360 consoles what they are and what they were. Each Halo game 1 through 3 and Halo Reach was one of the best selling on the Xbox or Xbox 360 consoles.   Halo changed the console gaming scene and revolutionized gaming forever, but all this success was created by Bungie. When Bungie announced it was moving away from Halo and would continue to work on different projects the problems started. Halo 4 was going to be shipped out with the new Xbox One. The new developer of Halo was 343 Industries. It was a group of new developers with some old staff from bungie. It was going to be there first game every and honestly it was okay. They went with a more edger, sharper, and more retro design which rubbed some die-hard fans the wrong way. They also added all new character designs for everyone on the Halo roster. It improved on the forge, but struggled in multiplayer.   These c

Why was Halo so great?

Why was halo so great? The halo series has produced timeless videogames year in and year out. (except halo 4 and beyond.) The first entry in the series was Halo combat evolved or Halo CE. It released November, 15 2001 along with the new Xbox. Halo revolutionized gaming at its core. During this time in history most of major first-person shooters were played on PC. (Personal Computer) At that point in time consoles did not really produce a good first-person shooter yet. When Halo it started a wildfire for first person shooter after it, and changed the gaming industry at its core.   Halo CE brought us this badass character that you took control of to fight tons of convent enemy’s and other key side characters to make it a well-balanced story. Not only did it bring a well-balanced story, it also brought us the halo ring, which pushed the Xbox power to its limits with a vivid world and landscape. Then 3 years later Halo 2 was released and it was better, if not as good, as the first Halo

My thoughts on Madden

EA sports madden really is a horrible game. I’m not just saying this to bash the game and nitpick on it, I’m truly concerned on the direction this franchise is taking. I say the turn in bad gameplay happened in Madden 17. The new engine in madden really improved the game and it took slow and repetitive animations and replaced them when smooth more realistic gameplay. The fast players felt fast the slow players felt slow and everything was more balanced. Then they add the catch controls which were Run After Catch (RAC) which lets you run after you catch the ball, possession which makes the receiver get the ball and find the ground or toe tap for sideline catches, aggressive which makes the receiver go the ball in a certain direction. These three new catching abilities changed madden and was the biggest change it has had in a while. Then what ruined everything was Ultimate team.   Ultimate team is where you can acquire the best football players from any time and bring them together on on

The best console of the last generation?

The best system of the last generation was the Xbox 360 in my opinion. The Wii and PS3 had sold entries throughout its lifespan, but nothing compared to the Xbox 360.   The last generation the Ps2 absolutely destroyed the original Xbox in sales. The Ps2 also broke several records for the best-selling system. The Xbox did beat the GameCube but it just wasn’t enough to beat the ps2. The Xbox 360 decided to go all in with its console and games. The hour glass design was something new and special. It was way different from the cube or box look from the last generation of consoles.   The Xbox 360 choose to go with a new color scheme of white and gray, instead of the black and green look of the original Xbox. The game to kick off its new campaign was gears of war. It was a phenomenally new game and gave a new direction in the genre of third-person shooters.   It also produced Halo 3 one of the greatest games of all time. They also had another great game in Forza which helped catapult it

Why was super smash bros so successful ?

My favorite game of all time is probably super smash bros melee on the Gamecube. The first game was super smash bros., which released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64.    It was first released on November 21, 2001 in Japan, right after the GameCube's launch. It was the second game in the series was my beloved super smash bros melee game. It was one of the most successful games of this decade. The reason it was so successful was because of the simplicity and yet the complexity of the game. To give you the numbers on how successful it was, here is the link to the sales figures from the super smash bros Wikipedia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Smash_Bros._Melee ). Why was this game so awesome you ask? Well the first thing is the new roster. It added 14 new charters to the roster. It also had the original 12 from super smash bros. There are 26 playable characters in the entire game. Not just made up characters, but characters from your favorite Nintendo video game series

My thoughts on fortnite

I've been playing Fortnite since season one and each season it gets progressively worse. We have to star from the beginning of the game. Fortnite season 1 was honestly ground breaking. The building mechanics, to the cartoonish vibe, to the easily identifiable ranking system, it was something new and refreshing. It made a splash in the battle royal scene not only because of the mechanics named, but it was free. The competitors are asking for 30 or 60 out the box, while fortnite only charges for skins. (the skins I will talk about later)   Then season two and three upgrades were heavily added to the map. New added locations, better guns, skins, and updated graphics were significant during this season. The only thing that hurt me was getting rid of double pump but I agree with everyone when they say it was over powered. Then came season 4, season 4 had a lot of great things added like the live event at the end of season 4 but that was it. The shotguns became broken which led to
